WHAT WE’VE DONE SO FAR

We have assembled a leadership team of professionals from Founders Brewing Co., Experience Grand Rapids, Warner Norcross and Judd, SS Consulting, The City of Grand Rapids, Grand Rapids Chamber, Global BridgeBuilders and Wolverine Worldwide. Together, this team is partnering with the NBMBAA® headquarters to fulfill the requirements to become an official chapter of the National Black MBA Association®.

Specifically, we have submitted and completed 5013c status, interim chapter designation, chapter bi-laws and held our first strategy meeting where we identified preliminary plans for membership and sponsorship solicitation.

To advance these plans and secure the Greater Michigan chapter declaration, the leadership team attended the 44th National Convention of the NBMBAA® to experience its offerings firsthand and to assimilate with the National Chapter on final steps to become an official chapter.
